Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on the red 'Checkout' button in the horizontal menu bar and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else outside the UK, you can place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept most major credit and debit cards. All online purchases are charged at the point of sale. If your item is out of stock we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to discuss what you would like to do. If you do not want to use one of our trusted secure Payment Service Providers, you can give us your credit card information over the phone, you can also fax it to us or send an email.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling

Our preferred method of shipping is with UPS*. Our basic service is UPS STANDARD. To ensure a next-day delivery you must let us know that is what you require. If you are buying your goods for a Birthday, or other present, and you need it by a specific day please contact us to inform us of this. We will do all that we can to ensure your gift arrives on time. Please contact us with this information at any point before, during or after the order process. We pride ourselves on delivering all our shipments on time, in great condition and in proper working order. Using UPS and their own stationery allows us to have good faith in our ability to deliver your products to you in the manner outlined. We realise that we may not always offer the cheapest shipping costs, however, we know from experience that more often than not, cheaper isn't better! UPS offer us an outstanding service, that is a little more expensive than 'regular' post, we then pass that service on to you, our customer.

Any problems, concerns or enquiries regarding shipping should be directed to us immediately for prompt attention. We are ready and able to answer your questions, or to assist with problems receiving goods.

*The Jump Shop Ltd. reserves the right to use an alternative shipping method when appropriate.

Delivery Schedule

Where possible, we will ship orders on the same day they are received and we will normally dispatch your order to you within 5 working days. We will contact you if there are any stock problems, so that you can decide whether you wish to proceed with your order, change your order, or cancel it altogether. We cannot accept liability for late delivery of orders for whatever reason.

IF YOU REQUIRE A NEXT DAY SERVICE: Please contact us by email, or call us directly to let us know that you need the item the following day. You must know that a Next Day service means we will guarantee your goods arrive the following day after we have shipped them - it doesn't necessarily mean we will always ship on the day we receive the order.

We are available for questions and enquiries at all times by email and telephone, so if you have anything you wish to speak with us about, or if you need to bring something to our attention please do not hesitate to contact us.
Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges

20% VAT is added to your order where applicable. If you are ordering from outside the UK or EU, or you think you have a VAT exemption, please contact us so that we can adjust your invoice accordingly.
Credit Card Security

When your order is placed at our website you will be taken to a secure payment site. You will know this site because it has the 'Golden Padlock" symbol towards the foot of the page. We use Sage Pay, and PayPal Website Payments.

To ensure the security of credit and debit card payments, we ask that the 'Invoice Address' on your order matches the billing address for your card. Where the address does not match that registered for your card, there may be a delay in the shipment of your order while we confirm your details.

International Customers please be aware we may have to contact you for additional information before we ship your order. This is part of our security and compliance procedure, and helps us to combat fraud.
Guarantee

We guarantee your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase we will refund your money or replace any item without quibble, provided it is returned to us unused and undamaged within 14 days. Alternatively you may choose to retain store credit with The Jump Shop to the value of the item that you purchased. Return shipping costs are your responsibility in such circumstances.

Privacy Policy

The Jump Shop does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
We may occasionally contact you with special offers or promotions - if you would prefer that we don't, please just let us know, and we will remove your details from our mailing list.

Cancellations, Returns & Refund Policy

We hope you will be pleased with everything you have bought from us but if you are unhappy with your Products, you can return them to us in accordance with the returns policy described in this section.

Right to cancel

Under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have a legal right to cancel the contract between you and us within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason unless the product is a custom order/ bespoke order.

The cancellation period will end after 14 days starting the day after you or a third party acting on your behalf (excluding the company that delivers the Product to you) takes physical possession of the Product you ordered. Where you order multiple Products in one order or a Product is delivered in separate parts, lots or pieces, the cancellation period will end after 14 days starting the day after you or a third party acting on your behalf (excluding the company that delivers the Product to you) takes physical possession of the last Product, part, lot or piece that makes up your order.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract with us by making a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). The easiest way to do this is to contact our Customer Services team.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of your right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel your contract with us, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than: (a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any Products supplied, or (b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the Products, or (c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the Products back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the Products, whichever is the earliest.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the Products resulting from the unfair/unreasonable wear and tear of the Product which is not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Products. We may make a deduction from any reimbursement (you are entitled to from us) for such loss in value of any Products we supply.

Faulty or mis-described goods

If you are returning the Products to us because they are faulty or mis-described, we will refund: the price of the Product in full; any applicable delivery charges. As a consumer, you will always have legal rights in relation to Products that are faulty or not as described. These legal rights are not affected by the returns policy or these terms and conditions of sale. We will refund you only through the payment method used by you to pay.

How to return the Products

You must return Products to us as soon as reasonably practicable. We will collect the Products from the address to which they were delivered. We will contact you to arrange a suitable time for collection;

You will be responsible for the return costs of the products. We are happy to arrange collection but you can also use any carrier you want to return the items.

You must take care when opening packaging that the Products were delivered in and carefully re-pack the Products in the original (or similar) packaging prior to returning the Products to us. If any damage occurs from the point of collection from you and re delivery to us then you are liable for the cost of damage.

If the item is sent to you boxed then for us to be able to accept the return it must be returned in the same box it was sent to you in or we cannot accept the return.


All new goods being returned to us must include any applicable retail packaging, and must be unused. This means they should be returned to us in exactly the same condition that we sent them out to you.

Before you return goods you must contact us to let us know that you wish to initiate a return.

Please note, you should always get a proof of shipping for all returns. We are always happy to assist you with returning goods to us, so if you have any doubts about packaging, security or any other matter relating to the return of goods please contact us and we will do our best to help you out - we can even arrange courier pick-up for you if required.
